Glen Keith

The old stone built meal mill of Keith was transformed by Chivas Brothers Ltd. into Glen Keith Distillery in 1957. Equipped with three pot stills it produced both double and triple distilled whiskey up until 1970 at which time triple distillation ceased. During the 1970s one still was used to concentrate peat flavour in water which was imported from Stornoway. Glen Keith is a Speyside distillery which produces malt whiskey primarily for blends, however, its single malt whiskey is released in independent ranges such as Signatory, Old Malt Cask and Pearls of Scotland.
